Presentation of the Moroccan Association of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics (A2MIA)

The Moroccan Association of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics (A2MIA) is a scientific and professional organization dedicated to the promotion, development, and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and applied mathematics in Morocco and beyond.

A2MIA aims to serve as a national platform that brings together researchers, academics, engineers, students, and industry professionals who share a common interest in advanced computational methods, mathematical modeling, data science, and intelligent systems. By fostering collaboration between universities, research centers, public institutions, and the private sector, the association contributes to strengthening Morocco’s scientific ecosystem and technological innovation capacity.

The association’s core mission is to advance research, education, and practical applications of artificial intelligence and applied mathematics. A2MIA encourages interdisciplinary approaches that combine mathematical theory with real-world applications in areas such as machine learning, optimization, finance, engineering, climate modeling, health, smart cities, and industrial systems.

A2MIA actively organizes and supports scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, training programs, and summer schools aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge transfer.
